At Mengo Senior School, Mr Kazibwe was replaced by Mr Grace Nantagya Ssebanakita, former Head teacher Luzira S.S, another Church of Uganda owned school.

He was praised for instilling great discipline in both staff and students, putting up modern infrastructure, beautifying the institution, greatly improving academic performance, good governance, constructing a state-of-art Chapel and touching lives of many people that he interacted with.
In his speech, Kazibwe who was accompanied by wife Dr. Ann Kazibwe from Makerere University re-echoed his advice to every one around to always do good to others so that they can too feel good as a pay back.
He thanked Church of Uganda, Mengo Board of Governors, teaching and non teaching staff and every one for the team work which enabled Mengo Senior School reach great heights.
“I caution you to always keep yourselves in Christ because without Jesus, we are nothing just like the donkey that carried Jesus lacked fame after it left Jesus.” Said Kazibwe, a Born-Again Christian.

Just like a great leader who wants people to prosper, Kazibwe urged them to save the little they earn to always be  exemplary in leadership and keep away from shameful deeds.
Many students presented songs and poems about the character of Mr Kazibwe which moved guests to shed tears of joy.
“What gives us hope and and happiness is that John Fred Kazibwe was succeeded by a great educationist and administrator Grace Nantagya Ssebanakita in whom we have lots of expectations.”Said a section of teachers.
Nantagya however called upon Mengonians to work together to keep the legacy left behind by the former head teacher.

During his Sermon at the function, The Dean of the Cathedral The very Rev. Canon Jonathan Kisawuzi Salongo thanked Kazibwe for being a committed and God fearing Headteacher, saying that it is because of this that he managed to perfectly serve and changed for better the image of Mengo Senior School now ranked the best School in Kampala.
Just a few days ago, Mengo Old Students Association (MOSA) organised a fair-well party to Mr. Kazibwe and gave him gifts which included a brand new motorcycle.
Kazibwe is such a hardworking leader, very passionate, competent and developmental.
In a period of only 10 years, he indeed changed the face of Mengo Senior School, put up first class buildings, bought a school bus and gave priority to the academic standard of the school.
In academics, discipline and smartness, no school in Kampala beats Mengo Senior School. He will be remembered for being a true Headteacher who lifted the staff welfare.
No wonder at Kings College Budo where he was posted a few months ago, things are changing at a very high speed.
May the good Lord continue Blessing Mr. Kazibwe.
