This property mogul has bailed out President Museveni’s top Mobilizer, a one Lumala, who trended on tiktok and other social media platforms over the weekend, crying after Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) evicted him from Kampala streets and his business demolished!
Dr. Kiggundu, owner of Ham Shopping Grounds has given Lumala a shop space for free and some cash, to wash away his tears and be engaged in serious business! Thanks to the benevolent Hamis Kiggundu, for extending a hand of help to the NRM man.
Lumala was among street vendors evicted in an operation commanded by KCCA and security organs to clean all Kampala streets of illegal traders and vendors.He was working near Mini Price on Ben Kiwanuka Street, selling shoes.
During the recently concluded Presidential elections, Lumala used his work station to mobilize for President Museveni and all NRM Parliamentary and local government, without fear or favour.
Smartly dressed in NRM colours, Lumala put up President Museveni’s campaign big poster, cleaned it every minute, fed it with sodas, chicken and hundreds of people would make a stopover to take a glance, others gave him money for appreciation as many opposition supporters hurled insults against him.
Whereas he expected a token of appreciation for his consistence in supporting President Museveni, a few days after his victory, The Head of State gave a directive, all street vendors to be vacated, so to Lumala.
Seen crying like an hungry baby, Lumala accused NRM of using them as condoms and after their use, thrown in a dustibin.“I worked for you without a pay, i thought, i would be appreciated. See how you have vandalised my business and thrown me away! How can you treat your own like this? Now i have become a laughing stock before opposition supporters.” Said a crestfallen Lumala.
This is now history, the same Lumala was seen on tiktok saluting Mr. Hamis Kiggundu, reffering him to a good samaritan saying, “He has given me another life. Long live President Museveni, long live Dr. Hamis Kiggundu, long live NRM.”
For starters, this is one of hundreds, financially bailed out by tycoon Hamis Kiggundu.Many he has helped, Ham doesnt want the public to know! May the Almighty Allah continue protecting you, Haji Hamis Kiggundu.
