• Kawalya’s Camp Says, Singh Has No Balls To Contest Their MP, He Is Just A Participant

RUBAGA NORTH MP Abubaker Kawalya’s camp has received information about a plot orchestrated by NRM Candidate Singh Malwaha Katongole’s camp to hire goons, dress them in NUP t-shirts and cause Chaos on Elections day, destroy electoral material and beat up people to taint NUP President and Hon. Kawalya! Kawalya’s camp has alerted security organs about Singh’s plan and demands for an urgent investigations into this allegation.
Presidential and Parliamentary election is due this week, on Thursday January 15, 2026.
Singh and other candidates who includes Mukiibi Robert -DF and Sserwadda Christopher-PFF want NUP’s candidate ousted whereas all opinion polls favour Kawalya, say he will trounce fellow candidates by over 70%.
Kawalya’s camp fault Singh and his group on failing to convince Rubaga North voters on why the incumbent should be replaced, and have resorted to blackmailing their MP.
“We have information regarding Singh’s camp hiring a group of goons, give them NUP tshirts and cause havock during elections so that it is blamed on our President Kyagulanyi and MP Kawalya.” Alleges MP Kawalya’s campaign team.
They informed us how NUP is a non violent Party, whoever wants to put a bad name on their party is a political failure and an enemy to public.
On Friday, Mr. Kyagulanyi urged supporters to remain non violent not to be tricked by the regime.
For starters, Singh Katongole was thrown out of the 9th Parliament by the High Court over Hon. Moses Kasibante’s petition.In 2021, NRM gave party ticket to Hon. Beti Kamya who was grounded flat by NUP’s Kawalya In fact, Kawalya won all polling stations in Rubaga North.Singh’s resurrection in 2026, Kawalya’s camp says, didnt in any way bother them calling NRM man a mere participant in this race not a contestant.They say, “Singh has no balls to contest our MP Hon. Abubaker Kawalya. He has nothing to tell the electorate. He is a faded politician. He has resorted to bkackmailing our MP. That trick will not work. Come Thursday this week, we will overwhelmingly vote our MP back to Parliament.”Rubaga North people say their MP has perfectly represented them, support youth and women projects, and he is a leader for all.Kawalya is expected to win Thursday election with over 80% of votes for MP Rubaga North.
