FORMER Security minister and Intelligence boss Gen. Hrnry Tumukunde who recently declared his intentions to contest for President in 2021 General elections has been remanded to Luzira Maximum prison by City Hall Court until March 30th 2020.
Tumukunde has been charged with Treason and unlawful possession of firearms.
To court, Tumukunde who has medical problems was helped by his lawyer however inside court, he was able to talk and put on a smile.
He follows another presidential aspirant Mutaasa Kafeero, one of the two youths who dived in Parliament.
Mutaasa and Tumukunde were cleared by Electoral commission to have consultations.
Tumukunde was arrested last week.
