MBALE born James Alitho formerly Vipers and URA FC player  has taken a route in search for greener pasture in Zambia with Zanzco FC.

He departed for Zambia a fortnight ago aboard Kenya Airways and has been training with the club.

We are told, Alitho has impressed the Lusaka based side and they are considering to put him on the first eleven.

In URA, Alitho was the first choice goal keeper for the tax collectors and is now reported to have agreed a 2-year deal with 12 times Zambian super league champions, who are currently lying in 11th position with 25 points out off 17games, Green eagles are currently on top of the log with 40pts out of 20 games played.

Zanaco FC is a Zambian football club based in Lusaka that plays in the MTN/FAZ Super Division. They play their home games at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.

This club was formed in 1978 as a social team by management trainees of Zambia National Commercial Bank.

Jame alitho will have to face off stiff competition from Zambian born goal keepers Mangani Banda, Rachar Kola and Nsabata.

Their next league game will be at home tomorrow as they host 14th place Kansanshi Dynamos. He joins a horst of Ugandan players playing in Zambi.

They include goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya (Forest Rangers), Paul Musamali (Buildcon) Katende Misi (Mufulira Wanders) and lately Yasin Mugabi (Red Arrows).

Alitho helped Vipers win 2 league tittles and 1 Uganda cup in 2016.
