INTERIM coach Steven Bengo yesterday recorded his first win with Wakiso Giants FC thrashing Myda FC 5 goals to nil and secured a place in the Stanbic Uganda Cup 46th Edition, round of 16.

Goals from Hassan Wasswa and Lawrence Bukenya in the first half of the game was just enough to show the home side that there was some light at the end of the tunnel.
The former Uganda Cranes midfielder put on smiles as his boys continue to humiliate Myda FC when Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Hassan and Amos Muwonge each scored a goal in the second half. 
In other sports news, defending champions Proline fc needed spot kicks to book their place in the next round after Hamis Diego Kiiza’s would be winning goal was cancelled by Admins FC on-form player Walter Alele to send both side to spot kicks after a 1-1 full time. Proline progressed to the next round by eliminating stubborn Admin FC side 5-3 on spot kicks.
Visiting team Tooro FC eliminated Big league Kansai Plascon after defeating the home side 2-1.
King Oyo boys are now turning their guns to next Star Times Uganda Premier league game to fight out of relegation.
Action in the Round of 32 continues today as Express FC Waswa Bossa first home game will look to end Maroons hopes of reaching round 16 in the game that will be played at Kavumba.
