STAR Girl, Nakimera Promise Ssuubi, a form five student has offered herself to wrestle two boys for the position of Headprefect 2026/7 at the presitigious King’s College Budo.
Elections are slated to take place this week. Thanks to The Headteacher, Mr. Godfrey Kasamba for allowing exercise of democratic at this great college.
“By the Grace of God, i will defeat Muyimba Ian Calton and Humphrey Kyeyune. I am that Bibilical David talked about in the Book of 1 Samuel 17. My trust is in God.” Says Nakimera Ssuubi.
Born to a Sports legend Peter Ssebuufu and Mrs. Teopista Patra Ssebuufu, a renown local investor, Nakimera Ssuubi is a grand daughter to Rt. Capt. Wamala Kalooli, an NRA guerilla Bush war hero.
Her grandfather was a political leader and the war chief strategiest in the famous Luweero triangle! A great man who gave away his riches to facilitate the 1981- 86 liberation war. No wonder, his grand daughter is following the footprints.
The election process started with Shortlisting aspirants, students screening and staff screening.It is presided over by Mr. Kizito Geoffrey the Deputy Headteacher who also the Head Electoral Commission, Mrs. Margret Jemba (Secretary EC), Members;Mr. Ojambo, Ms. Patience andMr. Bulega William (Technology and Design).
King’s College Budo has got Nine Houses, Sabaganzi, Grace, Nigeria, Austraria, England, South Africa, Muteesa, Canada and Guster.
A great believer in service above self, Nakimera says, she has KCB at heart and she is ready to serve with an open ear.

My aspiration to become the Headprefect of King’s College Budo is driven by a passion for service, a commitment to personal growth and the ambition to influence fellow students, positively.

Through this journey, i am excited to discover my potential, challenge myself and make a lasting impact. Being a student leader is about more than just guiding peers, it is about shaping the future of the institution and fellow students.
