BREAKING: FIRE AT KASUBI TOMBS AGAIN, MUZIBUAZAALAMPANGA IS VERY SAFE!

IT’S SAD! News reaching us from Buganda Kingdom, one of the small houses in Kasubi Tombs has caught fire but the main Muzibuazaalampanga which has reached a stage of completion is very safe.

In a released police statement, Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesman Patrick Onyange has said, “There was a minor fire out break at Kasubi tombs in one of the huts, which was quickly extinguished by our officers from the Directorate of Fire and Rescue Services.”

“The fire broke out at around 1300hours in one of the structures that were meters away from the main tomb. Police were informed and four fire tenders were dispatched to professionally handle the incident.” Said Onyango, adding that,
“The fire crew reached and extinguished the fire.
The cause of the fire outbreak is not yet established.
Investigations has commenced on what caused the fire outbreak.”
“The extent of the damage is yet to be computed.
We appeal to members of the public to be calm as we investigate the incident.” Says SP Patrick Onyango.

Kasubi Tombs were set ablaze in March 2010 and are now under construction and expected to be completed soon.

We have been however reliably informed, Muzibuazaalampanga is very safe!
